It gives us great pleasure to share the story of King’s Construction and where it all began. Johan ‘Henno’ Gerber joined his father’s construction business as an apprentice after school and made the decision to qualify as a plumber.
After gaining extensive experience in this field, he started his own plumbing business along the Garden Route in 2000. In 2003 he joined forces with his family and together they built and renovated several residential properties and housing complexes. In 2014 Henno received a calling to relocate to Cape Town and King’s Construction (Pty) Ltd was registered in 2015.
Through the years Henno gained the experience and knowledge to direct King’s Construction to the company it is today – a company that offers turn-key solutions, with a responsive and versatile team that has a reputation for quality and capable delivery.

Our construction managers and supervisors have the projects’ best interest at heart. They are the first to arrive and the last the leave. Morning start-up meetings with toolbox talks set clear guidelines and expectations for the day and week ahead. Communication lines are kept open and the parties involved receive daily feedback on the project status.
